Every subnet, VLSM, IPv6, CIDR and aggregation calculation is performed entirely in your browser with JavaScript. The addresses and network plans you type are never sent to our servers – the site is a static page with no backend. To make the tool convenient on return visits, your inputs, saved projects, selected tab, theme preference and Pro licence status are stored in your browser's localStorage. You can clear this at any time with the “Reset” button or by clearing your browser's site data.
If you use the “Share link” button, the inputs of the current tab are encoded into the page URL you copy. Anyone you send that link to can see those inputs; the link is not stored by us.
We may display advertisements served by Google AdSense to keep the calculator free. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or via aboutads.info. Where required by law, you will be asked for consent before such cookies are set. We may use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (page views, approximate location, device type and interactions such as “copy”, “share” or “download”). This data is aggregated and does not include the addresses you type into the calculator. Google Analytics may set cookies; you can block them with a browser extension such as the Google Analytics opt-out add-on.
The site may show a “Recommended course” card linking to a third-party training provider. If you click it and purchase, we may receive a commission at no extra cost to you. Such links are clearly identified and never influence the calculator's results.
Pro upgrades are processed by a third-party payment provider (such as Lemon Squeezy, Gumroad or Stripe). We never see or store your card details. The provider's own privacy policy applies to the checkout. Your licence key is stored only in your browser's localStorage.
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
We may update this policy from time to time; the latest version is always available at this address. Questions can be sent through the contact details published on the main site or the payment provider's receipt.
